June 28, 2020 - Lunch at Easton, FunFly

Today the Essex Skypark Hangar Row A flyers were heading to Cambridge for lunch.  Here's I'm joining up on Rich/Nhu-An in their 172.  Weather was excellent.

Brian & Chuck were in the Arrow, which Brian just acquired from Mark.  Brian had called Cambridge Unicom and discovered that Kays -- the restaurant at Cambridge -- had closed at 11AM.  We were all up on a common frequency and changed our destination to Easton.

Here is Brian's Arrow on the deck at Easton.

And Nhu-An's 172.

The Sugar Buns Cafe at Easton was open and we were even able to sit inside.  Rich headed back to work on his hangar.   I had been talking up how amazing the South Jersey marsh area was and Nhu-An wanted to see it.  She hopped in the RV and we headed over to the Cape May area.

It was hot so we climbed up to 7,500 where it was cool.  We passed by some towering cumulous on the way to Point Lewes.

Cape May dead ahead.

Starting the descent.
